Visual Programming - Should Coders Stop Writing Code And Start Drawing Code?

Visual programming tools such as Scratch, Ardublock & Blockly have been around for a while but are generally scoffed at by ‘real’ developers for doing ‘real’ work. However, with the maturity of some of the tools available, is it now time for coders to seriously consider switching from ‘writing’ code to ‘drawing’ code for a living?
